OUR MISSION

The BodyWise Mission: to prevent complications from chronic disease and minimize risk for catastrophic health events by treating excess unhealthy weight.

Why this matters to me: Obesity has profoundly affected my family. At 45, my cousin lost his independence overnight after suffering a major stroke. My mother passed away at 69 from a cancer that had already spread throughout her body, despite multiple doctor visits for unexplained weight loss and persistent back pain. Her symptoms were attributed to her weight and an old injury—until it was too late.

These experiences have driven my commitment to proactive, preventative care. No one should have to wait until crisis strikes to get the support they need. At BodyWise Health, I strive to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources to safeguard their health before it’s too late.

Patients with excess weight continue to face bias in healthcare, with a higher risk for medical complications and more medical costs over their lifetime.

You deserve better care, compassion and understanding from the medical team entrusted to take care of you. I can be your advocate and help you live your life’s full potential.
